Peggy & Maureen

Eleven year old Peggy and Maureen were neighbors for just two years before Maureen’s family moved away, but in that time they began a friendship that has lasted a lifetime.

"Maureen and I have hiked in the Adirondacks, biked in Quebec, sampled wines in the Finger Lakes, snorkeled in Puerto Rico and celebrated new decades in New York City. We have attended the weddings of our children and met each other’s grandchildren.”

Victoria & Debby

Adventures with her best friend Debby gave Victoria the confidence to live a life full of laughter, right from the start.

"Debby and I became best friends almost immediately. She thought I was smart, funny and beautiful...things I never imagined were true. In fact I hated my reflection! Yet Debby always made me laugh and encouraged me to speak up. I was so grateful to have such a fun, loyal friend.”

Marc & Michele

Marc and Michele were lucky enough to find a best friend in each other as brother and sister. Through regular moves to different neighborhoods as children, they stuck together and remained each other’s rock into adulthood.

“We held onto each other and have grown even closer over the last 15 years, during the difficulties of illness and our parents passing away we always could rely on each other. We have gone on trips together, vacationed together, shared our deepest worries, insecurities and accomplishments. We don’t just love each other because we are siblings, we really like spending time together, joking, laughing, crying and truly just enjoying each other’s company. We are friends.”
