How much does it cost?
Storyworth Celebration Books are $10 to start. At the end, you can purchase as many hardcover books as you’d like:
  • $39: Black and white interior, up to 480 pages
  • $79: Color books, up to 300 pages
  • $99: Color books above 300 pages, up to 480 pages

For more than 10 years, Storyworth has provided a simple, streamlined solution for collecting life’s precious memories. We’ve spent a lot of time learning what it takes to put together a project like this. We’ve seen that people struggle with keeping track of multiple contributors and keeping everyone on schedule.

We've seen that laying out books is more complicated than you expect. Even with self-publishing options, it's hard to find a good quality book that doesn't quickly get expensive as you add more photos and stories. We’ve created and tested software that solves all these problems for you. You and your contributors can focus on writing and finding photos, and we’ll do the rest!
How long will it take to create a Celebration Book?
It depends. You can create one in just a couple weeks, but typically we recommend leaving at least 5-6 weeks from starting a Celebration Book to receiving hardbound copies. Here’s an example timeline:
  • Collect stories: we recommend giving people 2-4 weeks to contribute stories.
  • Finalize your book: it might take anywhere from a couple days to a week to review, edit, and reorder stories to get your book ready for print.
  • Ship and deliver: depending on your location and shipping choice it can take 2-3 weeks for the book to be printed, shipped and delivered!
How many people can contribute?
As many people as you like! Each person can add one piece of writing—a story, advice, memory, etc.—of any length, plus pictures. Books can range from 26 to 480 pages, and if your book is longer than 480 pages, you can create a 2nd volume.
What do the books look like?
Celebration Books are 6 x 9 inches, similar to what you’d find in a bookstore. The font is Merriweather, size 10. The books can include photos, and can be printed either with black and white interiors, or in color. We have several professionally-designed cover styles to choose from. All covers can be customized with your color choices, photo and title.
