They can also request a Story Call and tell their story on any phone, including a landline. This creates an audio recording that’s automatically transcribed into their memoir in their own words. Storytellers on upgraded plans can also use our Magic Interviewer, which asks follow-up questions to draw out details, then transforms the conversation into a story to add to their memoir. Or invite a loved one to join you on a Family Call to ask questions and share memories together. We'll create a cleaned up transcript of the conversation and add it to their memoir, preserving both voices.

No matter how you share your story, you can add to it or make edits at any time before printing. Even after your subscription has ended you can always add to existing stories, make edits and reprint your book. You can also add unlimited photos with captions throughout the body of your story to bring it to life. Remento storytellers share their stories over video with any internet connected device or by voice only over a phone call. Remento offers AI tools to alter the length, content, tone, and point of view of the story after it’s added to the storyteller’s book. One photo can be added to the top of each story, and while you can’t intersperse photos within your story, you can add a group of photos at the end. They do not offer a writing option.

Storyworth storytellers receive emails or texts with a new writing prompt each week. Storytellers, along with anyone added to their account, can add questions from our vast, curated library to their queue, rewrite questions to feel more relevant, or create new questions from scratch. For further personalization, storytellers can now share a few details about their life, and our Magic Questions tool will create prompts tailored to them. They can change the frequency with which they receive questions or put a subscription on hold to pause questions if needed.

Remento storytellers receive their storytelling prompts weekly via either email, text message, or both. You can choose from their library of questions or write your own, and change the question frequency.

Storyworth’s Color plan includes a 6" x 9" hardcover book with a color cover and interior with unlimited photos up to 300 pages. Our books are printed with high-quality materials that will last for generations and are designed to look exactly like a book you’d find on a bookstore shelf.

If your storyteller has recorded stories with our suite of voice recording options you can listen to them using a QR code that's added to the last page of their memoir. Every plan also includes a free audio book and e-book version of their memoir.

Even after your year with Storyworth Memoirs has ended, you’ll always have access to your account to edit or add to your existing stories and print new copies. You can also download a free e-book version of your memoir at any time.

Remento’s subscription includes an 8" x 10" hardcover book with a color interior and one photo per story up to 200 pages. Books between 201 and 380 will incur a surcharge, and books over 380 pages will require a second volume to be printed. Each story includes a QR code on the first page that links to the original story recording.

After your subscription has ended, you will no longer have access to edit your stories. To download an e-book copy of your memoir, you’ll need to pay an additional $24.99. You can request a backup of your recordings only by emailing Remento’s customer support.
