Christina lost her lifelong friend, Susan, suddenly and tragically 10 years ago, but she never considered it the end of their friendship. Christina Maheen Amini is the Publisher of Gift at renowned independent publisher Chronicle Books, where she loves collaborating with creative people to make everything from books to blank journals, puzzles to postcards, games to paper goods. She is the author of Before the Mortgage (Simon & Schuster), the children’s picture book Baba’s Gift (Little Bigfoot), and an upcoming book on artist Susan O’Malley titled It Will Be More Beautiful Than You Could Ever Imagine (Chronicle Books). She lives with her wife and two kids in the San Francisco Bay Area.
